The Craneware Group participated in CMS’s comment period related to the 2024 Inpatient and Long-Term Care Hospital Prospective Payment System proposed rule and related policy changes.
In a letter dated June 2, 2023, affirming its strong position in favor of value-based payment models, The Craneware Group fully supported measures that uphold standards for quality and equity, such as those that benefit patients and providers through the 340B program. Noting that these measures are transformative to the business of healthcare, The Craneware Group fully supports smart reforms that protect disproportionally affected providers, especially rural hospitals. In particular, The Craneware Group particularly urged CMS to deepen its commitment to safety net hospital recognition and reducing disparity in rural America.
